For the past 10 days or so we have had the drywall finishers and painters busy in the new home we are constructing in rural Northfield. It takes quite a while to finish drywall to a smooth, blemish free finish. As soon as that is done we like to clean the house, then have the painters apply primer paint to all wall and ceiling surfaces. The ceiling then gets a couple of finish coats, and the walls get one coat of finish paint. At that point we are set for finish work to begin.
The cabinets have been installed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The owners selected oak cabinets with panel frame and style doors. They look great in this rural home and fit the style well. Countertops have been measured and will be installed shortly.
