Foundation and Sewer System

Last week workers set the insulated concrete forms (ICF’s) for the foundation walls on the new house we are building. Spa Room

Our work at the spa room addition has progressed quickly. We have erected the sidewalls and the roof structure and set the windows and exterior door. Second Street Addition

This week we started another addition to a home in Northfield. We worked with this client for several weeks planning the addition and remodeling project. River House finished

Insulated Rim Joists

As you may know, construction work starts early most mornings. One of the advantages to that is that I get to see some beautiful sunrises. Yesterday morning I captured this scene as the sun started to peak up over the business across the road. Spectacularly beautiful and powerful!

This week’s more moderate temperatures have been appreciated by all construction workers. The house we are building in rural Northfield made some good progress. We have most of the windows and doors on site and are installing them.

Windows need very special attention. If not installed properly, they can cause significan...

House insulation

Our subcontractor partners finished up installing the mechanical and electrical systems in the rural Northfield home we are constructing. After the county completed their framing inspection and the state completed their electrical inspection we have now moved on to insulating the home.

Drywall and Decking

Our work at the rural Northfield house we are building has been moving along nicely. The drywall installation was finished last week and we are now concentrating on finishing the drywall. Once that work is done we will move right on to painting and interior trim work.

The carpenters are also working on the deck at the rea...
